Juan Pedro Medina

Founding partner since 1984, and responsible in the Firm for the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity.

Commercial and Corporate Law are its specialties, focused mainly in Capital Risk, Startups and Financing Projects. He has participated in the set up and development of all the Mutual Guarantee Scheme, both at National and European Level.

His knowledge and expertise in Energy Law is specially relevant, as he has a wide experience in many of the different stages of renewable projects: mergers and acquisitions, project financing, Joint Venture set ups, Turnkey Delivery Construction contracts.

He has participated as Legal Advisor in trading of both energetic assets and companies, including the development of the appropriate legal documentation and reviews.

He gives advise to clients in Corporate and Contractual matters and sits as Secretary and Legal Advisor to several Spanish companies Boards of Directors.

He has participated as arbitrator and counsel in several arbitration proceedings, especially in the most representative Spanish courts (Corte de Arbitraje de la Cámara de Comercio de Madrid, Corte Civil y Mercantil de Arbitraje –CIMA, and the Corte de Arbitraje del Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid).

José Antonio de la Maza

Partner and responsible of the New Technologies area in the Firm, has a wide experience solving controversies in these areas of New Technologies and Startups, both in judicial and extrajudicial ways.

Counts with a wide experience in electronic trading, mercantile advise to emerging and tech-based innovative companies, as well as software and computing services holders, cloud-based services, social networks, and e-commerce. Al this knowledge allows him to be always up to date about all new business models coming up in the technological area.

In addition, he is also experienced in complex finance products and markets as for his participation in Securities and Stock Trading companies.

Finally, he controls advisory services in the area of intelectual property in digital backgrounds (Internet, Software, Database, etc..)

Our Project Management tool, allows us to be updated about the current status of our proceedings, the people in charge of them, the tasks that have been already completed and those pending.

With Legal Update, our clients can follow the status of all their on-going procedures through their desktop or their mobile device (iOS/Android).

OSC – Own Secure Cloud

OSC allows our clients to connect directly with our NAS (via HTTPS), for those customers willing to access a fine in a secure setting, or those willing to share a folder with different kind of documents (Minutes books, legal notices, notarial deeds, copies, etc.).
